Revised Modeling Checklist for Applicants

A revised “Air Dispersion Modeling Checklist for Non-PSD Construction Permit Projects” has been developed and is available to industries and their consultants on the DNR website at www.iowacleanair.com/prof/progdev/modeling.html.

This modeling checklist compliments the DNR “Air Dispersion Modeling Guidelines for Non-PSD Pre-Construction Permit Projects” and is designed to standardize the modeling procedures and documentation requirements for non-PSD, New Source Review (NSR) air dispersion modeling analyses. Revisions to the original checklist were made to make the document more user-friendly and also include the changes related to AERMOD, revocation of the annual PM10 NAAQS, and to incorporate the revised PM10 24-hour background value.
