The Climate Registry Webinars Slated for April
The Climate Registry will conduct a series of one-hour webinars (web-based seminars) to provide a general overview for potential participants. Topics include The Climate Registry’s history, reporting requirements, and the business case for joining. The presentation will take approximately 40 minutes, allowing 20 minutes for questions and answers. Questions can be submitted in writing during the presentation. Please note that the webinar does not work well with VOIP phones.
The Schedule
The Climate Registry is collaboration among states, provinces and tribes aimed at developing and managing a common greenhouse gas emissions reporting system with high integrity that is capable of supporting various greenhouse gas emission reporting and reduction policies for its member states, tribes and reporting entities, including the state of Iowa. It will provide an accurate, complete, consistent, transparent and verified set of greenhouse gas emissions data from reporting entities, supported by a robust accounting and verification infrastructure.
For more information about The Climate Registry and how to join, contact Ann McCabe, Midwest Regional Director, The Climate Registry, (773) 661-1230; or Marnie Stein at the Iowa Department of Natural Resources Air Quality Bureau, (515) 281-8468.
