Section 16-1:

The best fishing in the tailwaters of Lock and Dam 15 is for walleye and sauger. Up Sylvan Slough and along the Davenport sea wall is also good in the spring and summer for walleye and sauger. The boat ramp at the foot of Marquett Street provides the best boating access. For summer and fall walleye and sauger fishing try the wing dams along Credit Island and off the mouth of the Rock River. Boat ramps to these areas are in Davenport Harbor and on Credit Island.

Section 16-2:

Good spring and summer catfish fishing all along Andulusia Slough on the Illinois side. Boat ramps are present at the City of Buffalo and Buffalo Shores. The Scott County Conservation Board manages a campground at Buffalo Shores.

Camping

Best for: Channel Catfish Other: Drum Carp

Section 16-3:

Clarks Ferry and Shady Creek recreational areas are Army Corps of Engineers areas; each have a boat ramp and camping available. Camping and a boat ramp is also present at the Fairport Recreational Area. There is a marina in Fairport. In the spring and summer the Andulusia Island Complex is good for largemouth bass, crappie and bluegill; Sunfish and Goose Sloughs and Patterson Lake are favorite areas. Catfish fishing is also good along Andulusia Slough.

Section 16-4:

Along Wyoming Slough and the cuts through Geneva Isaland in the summer is good channel catfish and flathead catfishing.
