Boundary Rivers

The season is open all year.
There is no daily bag limit except on Big Sioux River and Mississippi River and backwaters.
There is no possession limit except on Big Sioux River and Mississippi River and backwaters.
There is a daily bag limit of 25 and possession limit of 50 only to Iowa waters of the Big Sioux River that form a common state boundary with South Dakota.
There is a daily bag limit of 25 and possession limit of 50 on all of Mississippi River and backwaters along Iowa border.



Border Lakes

The season is open all year.
The daily bag limit is 30.
The possession limit is 30.
