HACC HACC - Hunting and Conservation Camp for Boys
June 18 - 20, 2008 and August 1 - 3, 2008
The Hunting and Conservation Camp for boys is designed to introduce a variety of outdoor skills to boys ages 12 - 15. Participants are allowed to experience outdoor skills: shooting (shotguns, rifles, archery, and muzzleloaders), trapping, dog training, hunting (waterfowl, deer, and turkey), gun care/cleaning, game calling, and conservation.

Youth Hunt MOE - Mentored Outdoor Experience
November 16 - 18, 2007
Mentored Outdoor Experience: Deer Hunt (MOE) is designed to allow inexperienced deer hunters the opportunity to obtain the knowledge to allow them to fully appreciate their activity, as well as participate in a controlled deer hunt with a mentor.

Outdoors Journey

OJ - Outdoor Journey for Girls
June 11-13, July 15-17 and August 6-8, 2008
Outdoor Journey for Girls ("OJ") is a 3-day, 2-night workshop aimed at introducing outdoor skills to girls ages 12-15 in a supportive, learning environment where they have opportunities to try things "hands-on". The program is held at the IDNR's Springbrook Education Center, north of Guthrie Center.
