Groundwater Professional Bulletin Board

Change in Affected Property Owner Table

DNR is changing the policy about which properties must be listed in the Affected Property Owner Table on page 15 of the Tier 2 report. Instead of listing all properties within any Receptor ID Plume, list all properties within 100 feet of the largest actual plume. Actual plumes include those defined for pathways classified as high or low risk. Actual plumes also refer to both soil and groundwater plumes, for all chemicals of concern. Follow all other directions for this page as outlined in section 6.4.3 (page 83 in the Tier 2 guidance), such as providing names, addresses, zoning, and whether the owner was contacted for a well survey.

For nongranular bedrock sites, where the groundwater plume does not have to be defined, list all properties within 200 feet of any point which exceeds the applicable target level (i.e. soil leaching to groundwater ingestion, potential groundwater ingestion and, if applicable, actual groundwater ingestion). At a minimum, for nongranular bedrock sites, include all properties within 200 feet of the suspected source.
