Iowa RBCA Tier 2 and Site Monitoring Report (SMR)

VERSION 2.51 RBCA TIER 2 SOFTWARE

Version 2.51 is a maintenance release which replaces all versions of 2.3x (2.30, 2.31, 2.32, 2.33, 2.34, 2.35, 2.36) and 2.40. If you have not installed any versions of 2.3x or 2.40 you do not need to install them. Use version 2.51 in place of all versions of 2.3x and 2.40. See installation instructions.

Version 2.51 is installed as a separate program from previous installations of 2.3x and 2.4. Do not delete data files you created with version 2.30, 2.31, 2.32, 2.33, 2.34, 2.35, 2.36 or version 2.40. The data file format has not changed. If you created data files using any version of 2.3x, or 2.40 they will work fine for v2.51.

In going from version 2.40 to version 2.51, several changes have been made, mostly related to the SMR portion of the software. For further detail on these changes refer to the Tier 2-SMR Version 2.51 User’s Manual. In general, Tier 2 modifications were made under the following sections:

3. Vapor Receptors: Lower Limits for Groundwater Target Levels
4. Actual Sanitary Sewers: Default Volume to Area
5. Non-Detect Groundwater and Soil Data

REPORT SUBMITTALS – WHEN TO USE VERSION 2.51

The Tier 2/ SMR software version 2.51 is used to evaluate normal, nonbedrock sites and to complete annual site monitoring reports (SMRs). All standard Tier 2 Site Cleanup Reports (Tier 2 SCRs) and SMRs submitted after July 31, 2003, must be completed using version 2.51 of the software.

Revised Tier 2 SCRs and SMRs scheduled to be submitted on or before July 31, 2003, may be completed using version 2.4 of software if the report is submitted as scheduled. Revised reports not submitted as scheduled must be completed using version 2.51.
