Flooding Updates
Closing/Construction/Renovation The bridges on the Copperas Beds Trails, Indian Mounds Trail and the trail below the manager's residence have been destroyed by flooding. Call the park at 515-359-2539 for updated information. (posted 10/1/07)
Due to current river conditions and campground flooding many campsites are unusable through 5/19/08. Reservable sites 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 are still usable at this time. Walk-in campsites are also available. Please check back for more information or contact the park office at 563-263-4337. (posted 4/28/08)
Due to high water and flooding on the Coralville Reservoir the Lake Macbride Dam Road is closed. This road leads to the Lake Macbride Dam area, the Fisheries Station and the Coralville Reservoir boat ramp. It is anticipated to be closed approximately 3 weeks.
