Wildlife Management Units

wildlife management units Crop fields are included on state recreation areas to provide a food source for a variety of wildlife species. The crop fields are interspersed and 10% of all crops are left unharvested. There are 209 acres in crop fields. Currently there is an agency-wide review of the cropland policy, so the crop fields may be subject to change. The shelterbelt plantings consist of 26 acres.
