Glass, Metal, Paper and Plastic Recycling

The recycling of glass, metal, paper, plastic and textiles has been a staple of Iowa's community and business recycling programs and forms the foundation of Iowa's recycling industry. Chapter 455B.306(5) of the Code of Iowa requires Iowa communities to implement a program for the separation of glass, metal, paper and plastic.
