Introduction to the Wildlife Bureau

The mission of the Fish and Wildlife Division of the Department of Natural Resources is to ensure adequate protection, scientific management, and appropriate use of Iowa's fish and wildlife natural resources, while providing a wide range of outdoor recreational opportunities for Iowans.  Naturally, the Wildlife Bureau's job is to fulfill the wildlife part of the mission statement.
