DES MOINES – Iowa landowners have the opportunity to restore habitat for declining grassland birds, migratory birds, butterflies and pollinators through a new Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) initiative that began May 1.

On March 13, 2008 the Natural Resources Commission (NRC) approved the following notices of intended action for the hunting and trapping seasons for 2008/2009. The proposed changes were also published on April 9th in the Administrative Rules Bulletin. The next step in the process is to take comments and feedback on the proposed changes before the final rules are proposed to the NRC.
